DOCA is you. We are part of the community thus we try to make world a better place. Over the years, we have proudly supported several non-governmental organizations and associations. In order to support SOS Children Village organization, in Plagiari, Thessaloniki, two bag and wallet collections have been successfully designed and launched.

Aesop Fables

DOCA for the 2nd year in a row created a collection of bags and purses dedicated to Greek SOS Children Villages. The Aesop Fables collection is inspired by Aesop’s myths and part of the revenues was donated to support young children and cover their daily needs.

“6 Myths of yesterday… Stories of today”
to support the Greek SOS Children’s Villages Greece

An original theatrical performance about six stories of the Fables of Aesop was organized by DOCA to support the Greek Children’s SOS Villages on Monday November 30 2015 at 20:00, at the Royal Theatre of Thessaloniki.

The show was for people of all ages, both adults and children, to teach and raise awareness while supporting the Greek Children’s SOS Villages, since part of the revenue was donated for their daily needs.

Hope is alive…

DOCA participated for the first time in the “Sail for Pink” event, on Sunday 15 of May, which supports women with breast cancer and was organized by “Alma Zois”. Sail for Pink is an event where all yachts clubs of Thessaloniki, the union of owners, the sailing schools of open sea take part in a unique sailing event in Thermaikos gulf.

Carriers, organizations, companies, yacht clubs, Olympic medalists, champions, associations, unions, volunteers and professionals take part in the event contributing in their own way at supporting women with breast cancer. For the last 27 years, DOCA stands by the side of women and their needs and she couldn’t be absent in such an event. Prevention is the key and it’s our duty to pass on such a message and give hope for a better life!

International swimeet Naoussa

Every year in Naousa, the Association of Parents and Friends of Disabled Athletes invites us to the International Swimming Meeting of people with disabilities, organized under the auspices of the National Disabled Sports Federation. DOCA participates and supports the children, supplying clothing for the races and always standing by their side.

Fairytales

DOCA cares. So do you. So we had an idea! To create a collection to support someone in need. This how a new fairy tale came into life. DOCA’s Fairy Tales collection was created by our designers. Bags and wallets inpired by fairy tales, dedicated to little Princes and little Princesses who need our love and support. You can recognize this special collection by the little leather “girl” sign with DOCA’s logo in her heart.

Part of the revenues was donated at the Greek SOS Villages

Like a fairy tale

The fairy tale’s heroes came alive at DOCA’s F/W 2014-15 collection, in bags and wallets with the “FAIRY TALES” title. Fairy tales designs’ goal was not only to remind us of our childhood but also to help essentially children in need. The collection was created in cooperation with the Greek “SOS Villages” company. Everyone loved the idea so much, that the products ran out of stock almost instantly. Part of the revenues was donated to the Greek “SOS Villages” to support them and cover their needs.

DOCA was invited on Sunday 19 April at the “SOS villages” of Plagiari Thessaloniki, to a big party for kids. The event was attended by all of DOCA’s staff, along with their families.
The event’s goal was for DOCA company to donate the raised funds and celebrate the success of the limited edition “Fairy Tales” collection, while also highlighting the villages’ work.
Totes, cross body bags and mini bags of this collection took everyone back to their innocent years with their dreamy designs, while raising the sense of social responsibility for owners of the collection’s items.
Because heroes are not only part of fairy tales…all you need an initiative powered by love to bring them in real life.
